Inside the Loc Lab Live Experience
It’s a 4-part experience, jam-packed with real tools and techniques to help you advance your career and/or take the first step towards becoming a DK Master.
Introduction to Goddess Locs:
First you’ll learn to recreate my signature Goddess Locs style. Yes, you’ll start the day working right alongside me to refine your installation technique. We’ll talk about managing the weight, length, and neatness of the style. You’ll work with synthetic hair and learn the pros and cons of human vs. synthetic hair for extensions.
Brunch & Expert’s Panel:
An uncensored discussion with all 3 of our experts as they share their experiences styling natural hair and transitioning from the salon to the silver screen. In the words of my late friend, comedian David Arnold, “It ain’t for the weak.”
Count The Ways: Styling Locs at Every Phase
Who needs an awkward phase?! Summer Nelson, a Master Loctician and one of our original DK Masters, will teach you the art of creating unique styles for loc-wearing clients at every phase of their journey – from bud to fully formed locs.
Loc Effects: Modern Hairstyles for Natural Locs
Have you seen Chloe and Halle Bailey’s hair on the red carpet?!
Celebrity stylist Tinisha Meeks is bringing her special SPARK to the DK stage. A master of modern style – she’ll break down different ways to manage and manipulate loc textures and lengths to create stunning looks for any occasion… I mean she’s amazing!
